RV/MH Hall of Fame Annual Golf Classic Returns to Christiana Creek Country Club

In Conjunction with the Class of 2019 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies

ELKHART, Ind. — The 2019 RV/MH Hall of Fame Golf Classic (Golf Classic), an annual fundraiser, returns to “The Creek” (Christiana Creek Country Club) in Elkhart on August 5, 2019, according to Darryl Searer, president of the RV/MH Hall of Fame (Hall). The event kicks off with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. and then caps off with a luncheon and awards presentation following golf.

Searer said, “We’re taking reservations for the Golf Classic so we encourage those who want to participate in our golf outing and support the Hall of Fame should make their reservations now. Space is limited.
“The Golf Classic is the morning of the day (August 5) of the RV/MH Hall of Fame Class of 2019 Induction Dinner and ceremonies at the Northern Indiana Event Center in Elkhart.”

That’s when the RV/MH Heritage Foundation will formally recognize the distinguished careers and lifetime achievements of our industries’ most notable individuals who are included in the Class of 2019.
This year’s class includes outstanding five members of the RV industry and another five from the manufactured housing industry.

Those being inducted in the Class of 2019 include:

RV Inductees: Randy Biles, Pikes Peak Traveland; Jeffrey P. Few, Automation & Manufacturing Systems; Bruce Hopkins, Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA); Lance Wilson, Florida RV Trade Association; and Daryl Zook, KZ RV.

MH Inductees: Richard “Dick” Ernst, Financial Marketing Associates, Inc.; John Carey, Modern Home Sales and Midwest Homes; Leo Poggione, Craftsman Homes; D. Raymond Broderick, Superior Homes; and Walter “Wally” Comer, Adventure Homes LLC.

Searer said, “Everyone is welcome so we hope to see a large turnout for these honorees. Make a day of it by also signing up for our Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser.”

Searer also mentioned that the Hall is seeking sponsors for the various Induction Dinner events as well as for the golf tournament.
