Edith Lane

As the founder, in 1969, and leader of the national club for single RV travelers now having chapters throughout the US and in Canada she served for 15 years as President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Beginning with 9 charter members the club has grown to over 5,000 international members. Developer of 3 RV Parks targeting single RVers and a longtime columnist on the RV lifestyle in national consumer magazines. Because of her early vision, most RV clubs now have a chapter for singles.

Doug Gorman

He was a charter member of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development Consensus Committee as the only housing retailer on the committee. He is Past-Chairman of the MHI Federated States Division representing retailers and community operators and has been recognized 9 times as MHI Retail Center of the Year. He has served as chairman of the Great Southwest Home Show.

Mary Irene Younkin

A 60+ year veteran of the RV and housing industry, she chaired the Ohio MHA convention for 12 years and has served the OHIO MHA for over 30 years. For many years, she directed the RV side of the family business while her husband, Floyd, directed the housing sales and communities. She founded Dycom Industries to develop housing communities and promote the use of fiber optics in Florida. Mrs. Younkin joins her late husband and her son in the RV/MH Hall of Fame.

Perry Yoder

He served the RV industry with 4 manufacturers and with a component supplier. In 1975, he patented a slide-out mechanism for RVs. A member of the IMHA-RVIC board from 1978 to 2001, he served 3 terms as RV Council Chairman; he also served as chairman of the Midwest RV Show committee. In 1990 he was named association Citizen of the Year

Ellwood A. Titcomb

As the President of Americorp, he has, since the 1940s, pioneered the development of housing communities throughout the country. His efforts were key in getting oversize homes permitted on New England highways where he was President of the New England Mobile Home Association. He pioneered no steps ground level home placement in communities in New England, California, and Florida.

Craig M. Bollman

He founded the first publicly traded company to operate land-lease communities, establishing credibility for housing communities on Wall Street that grew to provide over 12,000 home sites. He successfully lobbied for creative zoning for senior citizen communities in Colorado. He represented MH communities on an advisory council to the small business administration. He has also created a very upscale RV resort providing a unique brand of luxury to the RV world. He created a concept of fractional time shares where a resident of one of his communities could share access with residents of other communities.

Theresa M. Desfosses

Since 1968 she has led her company in retail sales of both HUD code and modular homes and the development and management of communities providing over 600 home sites in Maine and New Hampshire. As president of Burlington Homes, a HUD code manufacturer, she is the only woman to be the active leader simultaneously in all three divisions (retail, community and manufacturing) of the industry. She is a founding member of the Maine Manufactured Housing Association and a board member of the Manufactured Association for Regulatory Reform.

Jeff Wick

A long term MHI Board member, Jeff was the MHI Chairman in 93 and 94. He led the effort to get MHI funding for the Hall of Fame. Jeff led the effort to establish wind zones for HUD wind code standards saving the manufactured housing industry thousands of dollars. He has been a strong proponent for a customer focus in manufactured housing design and production. He pioneered panelized home and commercial building construction building homes and motels in panelized format including motels with over 100 units.

Carl Pfalzgraf

Carl served 18 years on the RVIA Board, Education Committee Chairman (led the group that devised the RVIA industry education program), Board Chairman. He was the 98 recipient of the Distinguished Service to the Industry Award. Led his company marketing for 1st electronic ignition water heater, first ball screw lifting devices, first light weight furnace with noise reduction and many others. He was the 1998 recipient of the Distinguished Service to the RV Industry Award and the 2000 recipient of the prestigious Industry Pioneer Award.

George Allen

George Allen, CPM Emeritus, MHM Master, RV/MH Hall of Fame Inductee, & Emeritus member of Manufactured Housing Institute. Author & freelance factory-built housing, affordable housing, & land lease community consultant. Authored textbooks on real estate development, investment & property management; chapbooks on business & management wisdom, and on prayer; plus, a Collection of Figurative Language & Figures of Speech – a writer’s guide.
