He is a pioneer importer and supplier of early gas-electric refrigerators to the RV industry. He brought dependable refrigeration to replace ice boxes in early RVs. As early as the 1950s, he established programs to train manufacturer and dealer service personnel in the proper installation and service techniques for his products. He went on to locate and distribute air conditioners, water heaters, and space heaters to the early industry.
