A 50 year housing and RV industry veteran, he is a founding member of Kentucky MHA and was its first President and its representative to the Federated States Association. He is a founding member and Past Chairman of RVI. He helped the Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation bring the annual Manufactured Housing Show to Louisville and successfully lobbied to get parking fees waived for all housing show participants.
