Along with his partners – who are both now deceased, he has developed and built numerous housing communities, not only for his own management company, but also for many other operators throughout the state of California. He was a founding member of the California Manufactured Housing Institute Board of Directors and served the association with terms as President in 1967-68 and 1989-90. He is a 46-year board member of the Western Manufactured Home parkowners Association, a Wallace Carr award winner and the WMA Man of the Century Award recipient. He has worked tirelessly to improve the California housing industry through legislation, code analysis, and political action.
